NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 Notice is hereby given that the Jackson County Board of Supervisors will receive unpriced proposals to prequalify vendors for Six (6) Medical Vans until 10:00 a.m. September 17, 2024. Specifications may be downloaded by visiting www.jacksoncoplans.corn.

 Unpriced Responses may be submitted by sealed envelope or electronic submittal. Sealed envelope responses should be addressed to Cindy Steen, Purchasing Director, 2915 Canty Street, Suite D, Pascagoula, Mississippi 39567. Electronic submittals may be made at www.jacksoncoplans.com. For any questions relating to the electronic submittal or reverse auction process, please call Bidding Group at 662-407-0195. All sealed responses must be on file with the Purchasing Director prior to or by the acceptance date and time as stated above. AII responses must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope with:

 UNPRICED PROPOSALS TO PREQUALIFY VENDORS WILL BE RECEIVED ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2024, UNTIL 2:00 PM

BIDDING WILL BE HELD BY ELECTRONIC REVERSE AUCTION ON SEPTEMBER 20 , 2024 , AT 10:00 A.M.

 All responses may be submitted electronically FREE at www.jacksoncoplans.com no later than September 17, 2024, before accepting the time listed above.

 Submissions will be evaluated and vendors submitting proposals will be invited to participate in the Electronic Reverse Auction. The Jackson County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to extend the auction date if necessary to complete the pre-qualification process. Bidding will be held by Electronic Reverse Auction on September 20, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at www.jacksoncoplans.com. Electronic bids and/or reverse auction bids must be submitted at www.jacksoncoplans.com.

 It shall be incumbent upon each bidder to understand the specifications as listed herein and to obtain clarification when necessary. It is not the intent of the specifications to limit the bidding to any make or manufacture of equipment or items of commodity, but rather to select such equipment and or commodities to fill a specific need and perform a specific task. Any reference to name-brand equipment or commodities is intended to establish standards only and bids submitted on equipment and commodities equal thereto shall be received and considered.

Each Vendor/Contractor shall be required to ensure the delivery and receipt of its sealed and or/electronic bid by the agency prior to the new date and time of the bid opening. Late or incomplete proposals will not be considered. Modifications will not be considered after the closing date and time.

The Board of Supervisors expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any part of any or all bids and waive any informalities.
