Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals or electronic proposals will be received by the Board of Supervisors for Jackson County,
until 12:00 noon (CT) on January 14, 2026, and said proposals are to be opened and read aloud at 1:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors' Meeting Room located in the Jackson County Services Building, 2915 Canty Street, Pascagoula, MS 39567.

Envelopes containing the proposals must be sealed, addressed to Cindy Steen, Purchasing Director, and designated as a proposal for the following items described, to wit:

One (1) New 4 x 4 Backhoe Loader with Extendable Stick and 4-in-1 Loader Bucket 

Bid documents are being made available via hard copy or digital copy at www.jacksoncoplans.com.  Interested bidders should log-in or register for a free account to view and order proposal documents.

Interested and qualified respondents may submit Request for Proposal (RFP) Packages, according to the requirements described herein, to Jackson County, Cindy Steen, 2915 Canty Street, Suite D, Pascagoula, MS 39567.

All RFP Packages are due by or before 12 p.m. (CT) on January 14, 2026.  Any packages delivered to or received after the 12 p.m. deadline will not be considered and shall be returned unopened to the addressee. All RFP Packages will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:00 p.m. (CT) on January 14, 2026, in the Board of Supervisor’s Board Room in the Jackson County Services Complex located at 2915 Canty Street, Pascagoula, MS 39567.

Bidders have the option of submitting their proposals sealed in an envelope or electronically through www.jacksoncoplans.com. If sealed envelope proposal is submitted by mail, the post office address of the Chancery Clerk is P.O. Box 998, Pascagoula, MS  39568. Proposals may be delivered to Cindy Steen, Purchasing Director, 2915 Canty Street, Suite D, Pascagoula, MS  39567.

All proposal envelopes should contain the bidder’s name and mailing address on the outside of the envelope and specify the name of the proposal item.

When submitting an electronic proposal, the proposal must be submitted in “pdf” format and shall contain the same information and forms as required for the paper proposal.  When submitting a proposal electronically, the authorized signature may be a hand-written blue ink signature or be an electronic signature.

The Jackson County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all PROPOSALS on any or all projects and to waive informalities.
